FC Bayern lost their next points in Freiburg. The record champions showed a puzzling performance, especially in the first half. It’s not just the fans who are surprised. Coach Tuchel also wonders what he saw.
FC Bayern wanted to put at least a little pressure on Bayer Leverkusen in the fight for the championship. But this plan failed completely at SC Freiburg. It was only enough for a 2:2 (1:1) in Breisgau. It was a game that Bayern could have just as easily lost. But also win.

We invited the counterattack and had no control at all. This was partly hara-kiri, mindless. We did things that we had never trained or discussed before, where the central defender ran over the full-back. We played early like it was the 85th minute and we’re 1-0 down.”
