F1 Bahrain GP: at what time and on which channel to watch the qualifying practices?

Tension rises in Bahrain. For the first meeting of the Formula 1 season, it’s time for qualifying for the Sakhir Grand Prix this Friday in Bahrain. After three free practice sessions which still reveal little about the real performances of the teams, these qualifying practices will give a first real trend in the hierarchy of the grid.

Red Bull and Max Verstappen, entangled in extra-sporting affairs after accusations of “inappropriate behavior” surrounding their boss Christian Horner, must emerge from the storm by showing that they intend to continue their momentum from last year.

The Ferraris, always impressive in qualifying, should have their chance to play just like the Mercedes, convincing during the second free practice session this Thursday. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell said they were “surprised” by the potential of the Silver Arrow after their first two places. And what about Alpine and the French Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly who the followers announce at the very end of the peloton this year?

Qualifying in Bahrain is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. this Friday, March 1. The three sessions will be broadcast live on Canal + Sport.
