MAARSSENBROEK > Laura Eefting and Marcel van Ditmarsch are the 2024 club champions at OSM Badminton.
Last weekend, the OSM Badminton club championships saw a day-long battle for the title of the year. At the end, the players from the highest teams from the senior competition and the recreational competition appeared to divide the titles in the different categories among themselves. Supplemented with the Van Doremalen brothers as outsiders. To many people’s surprise, experienced recreational players Juliëtte Sijtsma, Tom Kuijsten, Laura Eefting and Marcel van Ditmarsch managed to win all the finals. They didn’t get it as a gift. Especially in the singles, the finals were nail-biting three-setters. Laura and Marcel can deservedly call themselves OSM club champions 2024. Eva Veenhof, Jenny Fleuren, Lars van Doremalen, Sidney van der Sar and Stef van Doremalen had to settle for silver.
