This sixth day is the last day of the final four of the 2024 Nusantara Cup. There is only one more ticket left for the men’s and women’s categories to go to the grand final, after Tectona Bandung (men) and Kharisma Premium Bandung (women) have been declared to have qualified for the Grand Final first.
Today, there are four teams fighting for two tickets to the grand final. In the women’s category there is a match between Petrokimia Volleyball Academy Gresik and the Subang Sea Eagles, while in the men’s category there is SKN BDK Kudus against Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera Bekasi.

Petrokimia Secures Ticket to Final
Petrokimia Volleyball Academy Gresik’s action in the 2024 Nusantara Cup Final Four (c) MOJI
The first final four match today came from the women’s category. Petrokimia faces Subang Sea Eagle.
In this match, Petrokimia only needs to win one set to lock in a ticket to the grand final. However, the team from Gresik managed to win with a score of 3-1 (25-18, 17-25, 25-22, 25-18) over Elang Laut.
This victory made Petrokimia sweep the final four with a win and become group champion in the women’s category. As a result, they managed to ensure they qualified for the grand final.
Petrokimia’s victory also ensures that Kharisma Premium Bandung advances to the Grand Final. So the Subang Sea Eagle will face Vita Solo for third place.

Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera Creates a Plot Twist
Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera’s action at the 2024 Nusantara Cup (c) MOJI
In the men’s category, SKN BDK faced Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera. SKN BDK won two wins while Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera won once and lost once in the previous two matches.
SKN BDK, who was favored to win, actually lost in this match. No half-hearted, they lost 3-0 to Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera (25-16, 25-17, 25-16).
Thanks to this defeat, SKN BDK collected the same points as Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera, because both teams both collected six points. However, Bintang Mahameru Sejahtera was declared to have qualified for the Grand Final.
This is because the BMS set ratio is better than SKN BDK. As a result, they will face Bandung Tectona in the Grand Final later.
