Sports.- In the fourth edition of this sports festival, the disciplines of Beach rugby, Air Badminton and Beach handball will debut.
Sports and beach lovers will have an unparalleled opportunity to fully enjoy the entire Holy Week at DracuFest 2024 in its fourth edition to be held at Waikiki Beach in Puerto Cabello.
There will be five days, from Monday, March 25 to Sunday, March 31, full of excitement and sporting action in the most exciting coastal experience in the country.
In this new edition, the sports festival will debut three disciplines in its beach tournaments: air badminton, beach handball and beach rugby, which will celebrate its national championship for the first time in Puerto Cabello, “the city that is in fashion.”
To the competitions in these new sports at DracuFest, the traditional beach volleyball, beach soccer, BMX and surfing will be added, all organized by the Carabobeña Foundation for the Development of Sports (Fundadeporte). chaired by Jhonny Del Corral, in joint action with the different participating sports associations.
The organizers have prepared an extensive sports program for the enjoyment of all attendees:
- On Monday, March 25, the Volleyball and Beach Soccer technical conferences and practices will be held.
- On Tuesday, March 26, the Beach Handball and Air Badminton competitions will take place.
- Wednesday, March 27 will correspond to the disciplines of Beach Soccer, Beach Volleyball and Air Badminton.
- On Thursday, March 28, the Volleyball and Beach Soccer tournaments will be played.
- And on Saturday, March 30, the Beach Rugby, Surf and BMX competitions will be held.
All competitions will take place between 8:30 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon on scheduled days.
The organization, development and awards of the participants in the different tournaments of the beach sports festival will be carried out thanks to the coordinated work between the Sports Directorate of Fundadeporte and its High Performance and Sports Massification Directorates, together with the different sports organizations that will participate in the DracuFest 2024.
