Exciting Action at the Finistère Bodyboard Championship

Finistère bodyboard championship

The competition took place in slightly smaller conditions than expected, at the Minou spot in Plouzané. With low tide, which corresponded to the start of the finals, the waves were more suitable for bodyboarding. Hollower, they made it possible to generate more speed and perform more efficient aerial maneuvers. “Federal competitions are few in number at Minou and this one received a large audience. It’s pleasant for the competitors,” explains Julien Le Séhan, president of the MSC, organizer of this championship. Whether young people or adults, everyone managed to express themselves on the waves.

Little surprise in the rankings, since the favorites reached the finals. Morgan Le Quellec (Iroise SC), who finished in second place, let his departmental title slip away in favor of Yann Salaün (MSC): “I’m so happy to have won and also at home, but that’s not all. wasn’t easy. I still managed to do well, especially at the start of the final, which gave me confidence. I hope to continue like this in the next competitions.”
