Kurnia Meiga’s ex-wife Azhiera told about the breakdown in her household.
Azhiera admitted that she never imagined she would divorce Kurnia Meiga.
“I didn’t have any thoughts of getting a divorce, but because of an incident, I had to divorce. This divorce has been official since 2023,” said Azhiera in Jakarta on Wednesday (13/3).
The reason for the divorce from Kurnia Meiga was also revealed by Azhiera. It turned out that Kurnia Meiga was said to have had extramarital affairs and domestic violence.
“Infidelity and domestic violence didn’t make him want to divorce, he was just in the phase of accepting his fate, covering up his mistakes and for 9 years no one knew, including his parents,” said Azhiera.
Apart from that, Azhiera also revealed the story of when her father kicked out Kurnia Meiga who was drunk on alcohol.
“The incident happened when her father kicked Kurnia Meiga out because she drank alcohol until morning, where Zhiera tried to improve the household by persuading Meiga to apologize but Meiga insisted she didn’t want to,” said Azhiera.
Azhiera also felt that she could no longer make sacrifices to maintain her household with Kurnia Meiga.
“You’ve made a lot of sacrifices for your household, your children are also victims, you don’t want your parents to become victims too,” he concluded.
