Estavana Polman is available again for the Dutch women’s handball team. The experienced build-up player has recovered from a muscle injury and can participate in the Olympic qualifying tournament (OKT) from April 11 to 14 in Spain.

Polman was missing from the Dutch team last month, which qualified for the European Championship next summer by beating the Czech Republic twice. Initially, the Rapid Bucharest player was not in the selection of national coach Per Johansson for the OKT, but she will now report next Tuesday to the Papendal sports center where the handball players meet.

To Portugal

In the run-up to the OKT, the Netherlands will first play a European Championship qualifier against Portugal in Loule, but that match is no longer important for the already qualified Dutch team.

At the OKT, the Dutch handball players will successively meet Argentina, the Czech Republic and host country Spain as opponents. The best two of the group will qualify for the Paris Olympics next summer.
