Thursday March 14, on the occasion of languages week, the students of Notre-Dame-des-Miracles experienced an English day.
Everyone was invited to come dressed in navy blue or black for the bottom and a white top, a Notre-Dame-des-Miracles badge with a color per class, had been made. Each class played the game, with sport, maths, history in English, English culture… For lunch: fish & chips and pudding with custard. For the occasion, the kindergarteners had learned a song that they came to sing in front of the older children in CP/CE. The CMs were entitled to an additional English session, in the courtyard, in the form of games. In sport, they discovered baseball; in geography, English-speaking countries. A beautiful day, which allowed exchanges between classes, between students and between teachers, allowing cohesion and teamwork. The experience must be repeated.
