Maëlle Pinto (Coulounieix-Chamiers), the only first year in the group, is -44 kg, Dimitri Picard (Terrasson) -66 kg, Thalia Audebert (Périgueux) -48 kg and Ambre Robba-Jaubert (La Roche-Chalais) -40 kg. All four will take to the tatami on Saturday 30. The next day, time for the higher categories with Gabriel Labrot (Trélissac) in +90 kg, Lola Chanut (Bergerac) in -70 kg and Emma Jaubard (La Roche-Chalais) in -57 kg.
At least one podium
The first three in each category will be directly qualified for the next European Championships. Without saying it too loudly, the AJDP hopes to bring home at least one podium.
Already, to get there, everyone finished at least in the top five of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine championships (Chanut, Jaubard and Pinto were on the regional podium). Except Labrot and Robba-Jaubert, qualified thanks to their place in the 10 best French people in the annual ranking. All the Périgordins are well placed in the national ranking, four of them are enrolled in sports studies in Limoges (Labrot, Picard, Jaubard and Audebert).
