The Klosterneuburg Dukes suffered their third defeat in the fifth game of the placement round of the Basketball Superliga (BSL). The league leader lost to the Flyers in Wels 69:80. This meant that the lead of the Lower Austrians, who have 24 points, shrank to two points in the table.
The Swans Gmunden remain second with 22 points after a hard-fought 86:76 win in St. Pölten, the Welsers with the same points are third after their fourth success in a row.
