Draymond Green Ejected Early as Warriors Beat Magic 101-93

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected less than four minutes into Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Green’s absence did not harm the Warriors who won 101-93.

Green argued with official Ray Acosta after being cautioned for his first personal foul. A few plays later, after Stephen Curry was fouled, Green approached Acosta and started yelling at him. Acosta then called a technical foul, and when Green didn’t stop, he gave him another one, ending his night at 8:24 of the first quarter.

As Green left the court, Warriors coach Steve Kerr expressed his displeasure with the officials. During the ensuing timeout, Curry paced while shaking his head.

It was Green’s career-high fourth ejection of the season, making him the first player since Kevin Durant in 2017-18 to receive that much, according to ESPN.

On offense, Andrew Wiggins totaled 23 points while Trayce Jackson-Davis grabbed 14 rebounds and Curry had ten assists.

In the defeat, Cole Anthony was the most productive with 26 points.
