Draymond Green Ejected as Warriors Beat Magic: A Team Effort Amidst Controversy

In the match at the Amway Center between the Orlando Magic and the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green he is once again the negative protagonist for Californians. Green received two technical fouls in an amen and was ejected after just over 3 minutes played in the first quarter.

“The Dancing Bear” he began to protest after a foul called against Andrew Wiggins and received the first technical by referee Ray Acosta who after Green’s insistence on protests decided to expel the Dubs’ number 23. This is his fourth dismissal of the season.

Despite the episode involving Green, the Warriors reacted perfectly and still managed to take home the victory with a result of 101-93. In the post-match coach Steve Kerr he analyzed his team’s victory while also talking about Draymond Green’s expulsion:

“It was a complicated team effort in difficult circumstances. We were back-to-back, we lost Draymond Green early in the game. Now we need every win, that’s why we’ve all been quite emotional. Draymond deserved the expulsion, I’m proud of how the team reacted.”

The most affected by the affair was Stephen Curry who immediately appeared very upset and frustrated, even coming to tears. From then on he took the team by the hand, scoring 17 points and providing 10 assists and at the end of the game he commented like this:

“We need him. He knows it. We all know that, so we have to do whatever it takes to keep him on the field, especially this time of year. I’ve talked to him about it many times, including tonight, and I will continue to talk to him as a teammate and as a friend.”

The top scorer of the Californians is however Andrew Wiggins with 23 points to which he also added 6 rebounds.
