DPWT First title for Gumberg, Ravetto 3rd at SDC Championship

Winner of Robin Williams, regional of the stage, after two rounds of play-offs, the American Jordan Gumberg won his first title on the DP World Tour in South Africa. David Ravetto completed the podium.

There are few players who use the long putter on the tour. However, there were two of them in the play-offs, this Sunday in Port Elizabeth, for the outcome of the SDC Championship. This match within the match was won by Jordan Gumberg, after two additional rounds, against South African Robin Williams. The two protagonists had completed the 72 holes in the lead (-12). This is the first time that the American has triumphed at this level. A small miracle because his main competitor had the trophy almost in his pocket before a double bogey at 17.

For his part, David Ravetto confirmed his excellent current form. Winner of his first professional title on the Challenge Tour, already 15 days ago in South Africa, the Habs made only one error this Sunday (bogey at 17) which had no impact on his ranking ( 70 with three birdies, -10 in the end for a 3rd place). Julien Brun (16th, -5), Ugo Coussaud (24th, -3), Adrien Saddier and Clément Sordet (31st, -2) completed the blue wagon.
