After weeks of training at home we prepared Dominic Thiem most recently a few days in the “Rafa Nadal Academy” in the east of Mallorca. You could also marvel at how intense it was on Instagram.
The Racketwhich slipped out of the 30-year-old from Lower Austria’s hands, sailed over his Father Wolfgang Thiem away – and landed on one Trainingsgplatz. In the past few days, Thiem has trained, among others, with the Jordanian Abdullah Shelbayh, number 230 in the world rankings, and with Joan Nadal, Rafael Nadal’s cousin, who is only just in the top 2,000 in the rankings.
The former US Open champ will soon be joining the Challenger Tour. Three tournaments are planned.
