The German national soccer team will test against France and the Netherlands in the coming days. The DFB has now arranged two more games immediately before the start of the European Championship. The opponents are significantly weaker.
At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Julian Nagelsmann invites the national players to train. It is the first session before the upcoming test matches against France on Saturday (9 p.m./ZDF) and three days later against the Netherlands (8.45 p.m.). In addition to returnee Toni Kroos, the national coach has nominated six newcomers to the 26-man squad for the two games.
The two games will not be the last in preparation for the home European Championship, which takes place from June 14th to July 14th. The German Football Association (DFB) is planning two more games.

According to information from WELT, a game against Ukraine in Nuremberg is planned for June 3rd and one against Greece in Mönchengladbach on June 7th. The national players will each travel from their European Championship quarters in Herzogenaurach.
DFB starts against Scotland
They will receive this after a short training camp, for which they will be at the “Spa & Golf Resort Weimarer Land” in Blankenhain from May 26th to May 31st. In the first few days, the national players’ girlfriends, wives and children are also allowed to travel there. From Thuringia we go directly to Herzogenaurach to the Adidas Homeground, where the German national team also stayed during the 2021 European Championship.

The German team’s first European Championship game will take place on June 14th in Munich against Scotland. On June 19th the players will meet Hungary in Stuttgart, the last preliminary round game will take place on June 23rd in Frankfurt/Main against Switzerland.

After the last test against Greece on June 7th, the players will be given another day off before they have to report to the European Championship quarters on the evening of June 9th. National coach Nagelsmann will name the European Championship squad after the last Bundesliga matchday (May 18th).
