David saves storm opponent Lille from a late draw

Lille were unable to celebrate a win ahead of their second leg against Sturm Graz in the UEFA Conference League round of 16 on Thursday. Coach Paulo Fonseca’s club drew 2-2 at home to Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday. The point win was extremely fortunate, star striker Jonathan David only managed a brace late on (84th, 92nd). For the 24-year-old, it was competitive goals number 20 and 21 in 35 games.
