Daniela Spalla will give a free concert in CDMX when and where – El Sol de México

The solar eclipse is one of the most anticipated astronomical phenomena of this year, since Mexicans will not witness one again in decades if they do not enjoy the one on April 8.

The last time a total eclipse of the Sun could be seen in Mexico was on July 11, 1991, which caused the capital to be dark in broad daylight for a period of 6 minutes and 54 seconds.

This 2024 there is a unique opportunity to enjoy an astronomical phenomenon of this type, since according to UNAM Geophysics, the next one will occur until March 30, 2052.

In order to enjoy this event, various activities are being prepared so that residents of the capital can enjoy the eclipse.

Where will Daniela Spalla perform?

As this is a unique astronomical event, the National Autonomous University of Mexico prepared the Bajo la Sombra Picnic with various activities and a free concert by Daniela Spalla.

The appointment is at 10:20 am on the Islands to begin with a guided meditation at 11:00. The music will start playing at 1:00 p.m. with Mochis Bendito, F-Mack will continue at 2:00 p.m. and Daniela Spalla will be in charge of closing at 3:00 p.m.

This event will be free, and glasses will also be given away to observe the solar eclipse safely, although the UNAM recommended arriving early to purchase them, as a large influx of people is expected.

The solar eclipse will be visible in all three North American countries: Mexico, the United States of America and Canada.
