The Czech Republic will co-host the European Handball Championship in 2026. The European Handball Federation (EHF) announced this on Friday.
As a result, one of the preliminary round groups will be held in Brno / Brno. The Czech Republic will therefore host the final tournament after 36 years and for the first time in its independent history.
For the first time, the European Handball Championships will take place in five countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey.
