Having passed the halfway point of the competition, the three matches this weekend can clarify the position of the Soria team and, if possible, ensure the great objective of the season, which is to remain in the category.
The first rival will be Merca Pinturas Almería, current leader and great dominator of the competition, so, barring a big surprise, the team from Soriano has few options to obtain a positive result due to the potential of the Andalusians.
On Saturday afternoon, the rival will be the San Fernando Badminton Club of Valencia. The Valencians are in relegation positions and the meeting between the two will be key because a victory for the Sorianos would lead to a lifeline for them.
A similar situation occurs with Sunday’s match against Club Benalmádena de Málaga. Tied in the standings with the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club, the match is key to maintaining their position in the middle of the table.
With this background, the objective set by the club’s technical management is to achieve two victories in the three possible matches and in this way play the fourth and final day with the peace of mind of having permanence on track.
This third round will be held in the Cáceres town of Villanueva de la Vera, with the first two confrontations taking place on Saturday to finish the test on Sunday against the Andalusians.
