The Cessero Archers’ Association has invited all Arc de l’Hérault shooting clubs to come and participate in the Critérium de l’Hérault this weekend in the town.
“We have the experience and the right place to organize such an event,” explains president Christian Vacassy. “The club currently has 55 archers including 22 children and 33 adults who bring honor to the club by often being on the podiums during competitions. Building on this progress and our capacity to supervise thanks to permanently trained instructors, as recently, four members of the club passed the PSC1 (Prevention and civic relief) and their BF1 (Federal Certificate) under the aegis of the FNSMR , our association can therefore host the Departmental Critérium in the best conditions.”
It is also a desire of the club to introduce this discipline to young people in the town. During the holidays last February, the president organized with some qualified archers an afternoon of introduction to archery with the children of the village daycare. The opportunity to show them the advantages of Archery: A sport of concentration, archery allows you to know yourself better, build your personality and gain confidence. It requires good self-control to manage your emotions. He therefore brings a lot of rigor to everyday life. Archery is a complete sport providing many physical benefits.
