The councilor-president of Hortaleza, David Pérez, visited today one of the toy libraries that the Municipal Board sets up in the district’s cultural centers to promote conciliation during the Easter holidays.
“We make this free service available to families – the councilor explained – where children practice sports, play and learn, while parents can carry out their work obligations.”
The toy library takes place on March 25, 26 and 27 at the Carril del Conde (50 seats), Hortaleza (50 seats) and Federico Chueca (30 seats) cultural centers, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Aimed at children between 3 and 12 years old who reside or study in the district.
“From the municipal board we are aware that school holidays do not correspond to work demands and with this initiative we support the work-life balance of our neighbors,” said Pérez.
