Contusion to the iliac crest for Thomas Ramos, injured during UBB-Toulouse

Toulouse’s Thomas Ramos was injured at the start of his team’s match in Bordeaux (31-28), this Sunday evening, during the 19th day of the Top 14. Replaced by Antoine Dupont, the opener suffered from a “big bruise on the iliac crest” as his trainer Ugo Mola revealed after the match.

While trying to tackle Yoram Moefana at the end of the line, Ramos was violently hit on the right flank by his teammate Pita Ahki (2nd). On the next return kick, he immediately grimaced and waved to be substituted. On the bench, we saw trainers place an ice pack on his pelvis.

“We hope there is no more damage,” added Mola. It is very painful. There is little material around, when you take a shot on these areas, it’s always a little special. The staff wasn’t that worried but there is always a risk of a muscle problem. »
