More than 1,400 athletes will appear at the I Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024 and the archery competition will be held at the “Garcilazo Complex” Soccer Field from April 12 to 14, each participating country can only register four shooters, two men and two women.
Starting at 9:00 am on April 12, the individual Olympic qualifying rounds of the recurve and compound modalities will be held, while in the afternoon the elimination rounds of the same modalities will be held by mixed teams along with their respective finals. .
Subsequently, on April 13, the individual Olympic elimination rounds will be held in each modality, while on the 14th the finals will be held, both events starting at 9:00 am on their respective days.
Colombia attends the contest with a team of four athletes, two for each gender and compound and recurve modality, along with coaches Darío José Mercado Sira and Luz Adriana Gómez Arbeláez.
