Colombia Ready to Make History at I Bolivarian Youth Games in Bolivia

Colombia is preparing to make history in the I Bolivarian Youth Games that will take place in Sucre, Bolivia, from April 4 to 14. A total of 164 young athletes, aged between 14 and 20, will represent Colombia in 17 exciting disciplines.

The Colombian Ministry of Sports has confirmed participation in this prestigious competition, where sports such as athletics, badminton, handball, basketball, baseball, boxing, cycling, fencing, futsal, artistic gymnastics, judo, karate-do and weightlifting will stand out.

Ingrid Vanessa Segura, the outstanding weightlifter who is only 17 years old, will lead the Colombian delegation as standard bearer in these games. With an impressive track record that includes world titles and gold medals in international events, Segura is a symbol of young Colombian talent.

Sucre, the historic capital of Bolivia, is preparing to receive more than 1,400 athletes from seven Bolivarian countries, in an event that seeks to promote and celebrate the new talents of the region.
