It brought together 90 players in 25 mixed teams, 20 men’s doubles teams, eight women’s doubles teams, five girls and sixteen men’s singles. The clubs represented came from Givry-en-Argonne, Chamouilley, Montier-en-Der, Eclaron, BA 113, Pagny-sur-Saulx, Revigny-sur-Ornain, Tronville-en-Barrois, UJB de Saint- Dizier, Vaucouleurs, Void-Vacon and Bouzy. Nearly 200 matches were played and all came out of the pool either on the honor roll or in the consolation, except for the women’s singles where there was only a pool of five (which remains satisfactory because few women play the singles). ). Cousances finished tied for first with Saint-Mihiel. She met him on Sunday March 24, in Vignot. His team, which plays interclub, is currently first at the departmental level.
The Cocotte tournament owes its name to the famous bowl made for decades in the village. Among the honorary winners, Anaïs d’Eclaron, winner of the mixed doubles, was lucky to be drawn and won a large casserole while Pierre de l’UJB, winner of the consolatory singles, won two mini-casseroles.
