“It was an important match, because we were coming off the back of two league defeats and one cup defeat. We felt the pressure of having to win this race and we prepared a lot this week. We had the merit of taking the good things we had done from the Forlì match and bringing them back to the field this evening, obviously I’m speaking from a defensive point of view because offensively we were still a bit prey to tension and haste. Compared to other times, however, we played a much more careful match and we are happy from a technical-tactical point of view with the match we played. But we are even happier because we tried to exploit the strength of our entire roster and it was a team victory, which we wanted so much. The match against Forlì, despite having left a bad taste in the mouth of a defeat, marked a path. It’s a victory that gives us morale, but the championship is now in full swing and we have a complicated away match on Saturday. Tomorrow we will be back in the gym to throw ourselves into this season finale with all the confidence possible.”
