The pupils of the CM1-CM2 classes at the Marmousets school continued during this end of the winter period the “Olympic meetings” with a sport which is gaining momentum in schoolyards in recent years: badminton.
Before that, on Thursday afternoons, for one hour per week, they learned this sport which allows them to develop coordination, precision, alertness and knowledge of the rules in force.
This period, like the previous ones, ended with a meeting with the schools of Sainte-Marie and Saint-Martin-de-Lenne. It is with diligence and seriousness that the different teams of students who wear the colors of a nation, a nod to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, competed against each other during the events (matches, juggling, exchanges, precision throws and refereeing) at the La Falque gymnasium.
The teachers thank the town hall and Fabrice Creyssels for this innovative and motivating project for all.
