Closing Ceremony Held for Basketball Campus on White Week in Ceuta

The ‘Antonio Campoamor’ municipal pavilion will host the closing ceremony of the basketball campus for White Week which began last Monday with the participation of thirty boys and girls belonging to different clubs in Ceuta who wanted to take advantage of this week’s vacation to continue training in this basketball sport.

After four days of training, starting at 1:30 p.m., the traditional presentation of diplomas and gifts to the participants will be held.

Since last Monday, the monitor in charge of teaching the sessions has been Jesús Benítez, coach of the men’s children’s team of the Ceuta Basketball Foundation although he has also relied on two other coaches who have obtained level 0, such as Aarón Martínez and Nacho Requejo, who have helped him design the activities until this Thursday. Different exercises such as dribbling the ball, shots to the basket or technical training have been some movements that the little ones have performed throughout the week.

Until this Thursday, the ‘Antonio Campoamor’ sports center has breathed a basketball atmosphere this week of vacation, a great initiative by the basketball federation to continue with sports activities. During these days the three groups were positioned along the ‘Antonio Campoamor’ pavilion on this campus, where the little ones could be seen continuing to enjoy basketball.

The basketball campus It has had a schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, which the little ones born between 2016, 2015 and 2014 have been able to enjoy.

Many intensive training sessions scheduled so as not to lose form and rhythm for when the competition matches begin again.

The little ones, in these days of basketball, have been able to learn lessons about this sporting discipline from FBC-certified coaches such as Jesús Benítez, Aarón Martínez and Nacho Requejo.
