Chelsea Fans Want Mourinho, Pochettino: Try Asking the Players

Jakarta

Mauricio Pochettino responding to fans’ calls Chelsea who asked for it to be replaced by Jose Mourinho. Pochettino is not worried about this.

Pochettino endured a difficult first season at Chelsea. The Blues are stumbling in the Premier League and are struggling in mid-table with a 19 point difference from the top four.

Chelsea also recently lost the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool. However, they still have a chance to win a trophy in the FA Cup.

Chelsea’s inconsistent performance has made supporters voice their disappointment. When Chelsea drew against Brentford last week, supporters were heard shouting Jose Mourinho’s name and asking Pochettino to resign.

Pochettino is not worried about Chelsea fans’ demands. The Argentinian believes the players still support him.

“Listen, I respect Jose, he is my friend. He is extraordinary for this club, his medal here is extraordinary. We have to persist and believe in ourselves and accept the things that come from the fans,” said Pochettino as reported by the Mirror.

“If the players believe that with another coach they can be better… maybe they can talk to the owner or sporting director. You need to ask the players. You can ask.”

“Do you see I’m worried about this? No. Is it a problem of attitude? No. Is it a problem? No. You can see the way they behave that they are behind us. Of course there is no doubt,” said Pochettino.
