NEWS – PORDENONE EUROPEAN KATA TOURNAMENT 2024 – PORDENONE (ITALY), 23-24/03/2024
It ended on March 23rd Pordenone European Kata Tournament 2024organized in the PalaFlora in Pordenone in Italy, which saw the participation of 73 couples from 13 nations.
The performances of the athletes registered with the competing Lazio clubs were encouraging.
Below are the results:
- 5° class – Meconi Barbara – Calderini Maurizio of the Forum Sport Center – (Kime No Kata)
- 6° class – Volpi Rebecca – Gheorghita Mihaela of the ASD Kodokan Anzio – (Ju No Kata)

Sunday 24 March took place 40° Trofeo Villanova Judo Kata Grand Prix, third stage of the National Kata Grand Prix which saw excellent performances by the athletes registered for Lazio clubs competing which confirmed the good results achieved in previous competitions.
Below are the results:
- 3° class – Meconi Barbara – Calderini Maurizio of the Forum Sport Center – (Kime No Kata — A1 National Grand Prix)
- 4° class – Volpi Rebecca – Gheorghita Mihaela of the ASD Kodokan Anzio – (Ju No Kata — National Grand Prix A1)
- 1° class – Salvatore Fabrizio – Scaranello Matteo della ASD Kodokan Anzio – (Kodokan Goshin Jutsu – Grand Prix Nazionale A2)
- 2° class – Messina Riccardo – Sacchi Roberto Maria della ASD Kodokan Anzio – (Kodokan Goshin Jutsu – Grand Prix Nazionale A2)
- 1° class – Campagnano Vincenzo – Maffuccio Onelio of Gecko’s Club Judo – (Kime No Kata — National Grand Prix A2)
- 3° class – Longed for Asia – Longed for Sara della ASD Kodokan Anzio – (Junior Ju No Kata — Grand Prix Under 18)

The next appointment is for the fourth National Grand Prix scheduled for April 21st in Castel Maggiore (Bologna).
