Celebrating Female Badminton Players: BCE Honored by Auvergne Rhône Alpes League

A week before the 10th edition of its Écoplume de l’Emblavez tournament, the Badminton club de l’Emblavez (BCE) was honored on Saturday March 16, in Lyon, by the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Badminton League for its female graduates.

Saturday March 16, the general assembly of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes badminton league took place in Lyon. The small club from Haute-Loire received the distinction of being the club in the greater Aura region with the highest percentage of female licensees. The BCE is also the second club in the region in terms of renewal of female licensees behind the Corbas club (Rhône).

The BCE is therefore, with 51 licensees (young and seniors combined) out of 85 (i.e. 60% female), the one which welcomes the highest concentration of players within it among the 200 in the AURA league.
