The educational community of CEIP Nuestra Señora de las Nieves celebrated its big day this Friday, Center Day, a party attended by more than half a thousand people, including students, teachers and families.
To achieve this, the school had developed a varied range of activities – with the collaboration of the City Council – in which the schoolchildren have been the main protagonists.
The day started with a collective breakfast of churros with chocolate invited by the center itself. The programming continued on the sports courts with an exhibition by the Canine Unit of the Almendralejo Local Police that aroused great expectation among the children and was followed with great attention.

Immediately afterwards, the students were distributed among different scenarios to attend the scheduled activities. Thus, while some attended a children’s magic show, others passed through the tatami to receive introductory judo classes. At the same time, the little ones enjoyed themselves in the bouncy castles or in the face painting workshops, and other classmates participated in a break out, in a sports gymkhana, in an orientation workshop, in a mural painting workshop or in a beading workshop.
A lively joint dance in which all those present participated put an end to a great day of coexistence between all the members of the school’s school community.
