CD Ilunion accompanies BSR Amiab Albacete in the ‘Final Four’ of the Champions League

CD Ilunion beat Turkish Galatasaray (86-75) this Sunday to qualify for the ‘Final Four’ of the Champions Cup, the highest European chair basketball competition, on the third and final day of the quarterfinals.

The Madrid team was playing in Germany, where the four teams in the group, with a victory and a loss, had a chance of being in the ‘Final Four’ to be held from May 3 to 5 in Albacete, and signed their classification in a great second part.

‘Pincho’ Ortega led the Spanish team, recent Copa del Rey champion, with 26 points, well supported by Gregg Warburton (17) and Bill Latham. Yesterday, BSR Amiab Albacete, current double European champion, already achieved its place in the ‘Final Four’, which it signed this Sunday with full victories.
