Successes for the girls of the Catanzaro society of Archers Club Lido at the sporting event held in Maida over the past weekend, the Pinocchio trophy winter phase, race reserved for the youth classes of archery, which saw the debut of the compound in this competition for the first time ever. The invitation was strong for the company of president Messina, which, under the guidance of the coach Poerio Pierà Edoardo, brings to the shooting line two athletes from the compound division, one Falcone Samantha in the F” class and the other Fabio Ludovica in the class F£.
As for the sporting script, the result is not lacking: perfect race for both girls, in fact Falcone Samantha finishes with a round of 460 out of 480 that can be totaled and Fabio Ludovica with a total of 451.
Satisfied the Mister Poerio Pierà Edoardowho congratulated the young athletes of the club, “The girls worked hard at the end of the season, reconciling training and study, the result was not a given but it was expected, in fact two very respectable scores in the women’s sector which bode well for the future”.
The Club Lido company is the one that has won the most medals in the Pinocchio trophy before the Mickey Mouse trophy, with Antonio Messina, Valentino Elena, Caroleo Alessandro, Caroleo Roberta and two medals including a first place for Anastasia Poerio Pierà and two consecutive silvers for Francesco Poerio Piterà in past editions.
