The Blue flyhalf, who thought she would finally return to the French selection, had to give up the Six Nations Tournament just a few days before its start.

Fly-half Caroline Drouin, who has not played for a year and a half with the French women’s XV, was forced to withdraw from the Six Nations Tournament, the French Rugby Federation announced on Monday.

The Rennes player (27 years old, 30 caps) was due to make her return to Les Bleues, whose jersey she has not worn since the match for third place in the last World Cup won against Canada (36-0) in November 2022. Since then, integrated into the French rugby sevens team with a view to the Paris Olympic Games this summer, Drouin has been replaced in the French group for the Tournament by Lyonnaise Lilou Graciet (20 years old, 0 selection) .

Montpellier pillar Rose Bernadou (24 years old, 12 caps), also withdrawn, is replaced by a regular in the France group, Coco Lindelauf (23 years old, 18 caps). Les Bleues will begin their Tournament on Saturday (3:15 p.m.) against Ireland at the Marie-Marvingt stadium in Le Mans.
