Camagüey, Aug 27.- The guarantee of starting Artistic Education in Camagüey, another optimal school year, characterizes the preparations for another stage of learning in the only province of the country – outside the Cuban capital – that has in the specialty, all levels: primary, middle and higher.
When offering the information, Salvador Tejón Pérez, director of the Culture Sector in the territory, announced that more than 80 percent of the material security aimed at such specialty is already in the territory.
The teaching force is reinforced by the presence on all campuses of the artistic avant-garde, which imparts – in addition to the study programs planned for each discipline – its own experience, backed by years of fertile activity.
Tejón announced that the Teaching Theater of the Vicentina de la Torre Academy of Arts – in the provincial capital – will be completed in the first months of next year, as part of the priorities to organize the optimal performance of the campus.
He added that among the investment projects involved in Artistic Education in Camagüey, is giving continuity to the second stage of the remodeling of the José White Conservatory of Music, which includes the Dormitory Block for boarding students and the Workshops for instruments.
