Cádiz to Host Two Major Judo Events in March: National Congress of Teachers and Andalusian Children’s and Cadet Championship

The city of Cádiz will host two important sporting events related to judo this March, such as the National Congress of Teachers and the Andalusian Children’s and Cadet Championship.

The first will take place on March 16 and 17 and will bring together some of the best coaches and teachers of this sport in the national territory, with several Olympic medalists among the participants who will debate the future of this sport, as it has indicated by the Cádiz City Council in a note.

The event, which is organized by the Spanish Judo Federation and the Andalusian Federation, has the institutional support of the City Council, the Government of Andalusia, the Provincial Council of Cádiz, the Higher Sports Council and the University of Cádiz, and will feature presentations , work meetings and technical meetings in which different aspects of this sport will be addressed.

On the other hand, the ‘Ciudad de Cádiz’ Sports Complex will be the scene of the Andalusian Children’s and Cadet Judo Championship on March 23, a competition where the great promises of this sport at the Andalusian level will meet.

The presentation ceremony for both events, which took place this morning in the ‘Ciudad de Cádiz’, was attended by the Sports Councilor of the Cádiz City Council, Carlos Lucero, as well as the representative of the Spanish Judo Federation , Carmen Calvo.

The mayor has stressed “the importance” of hosting this type of events, which give visibility to a sport “that promotes fundamental values ​​in life.” Likewise, he thanked the sports institutions for their trust in choosing the capital of Cadiz to celebrate these two events, as well as the collaboration of Carmen Calvo from Cadiz to bring them to the city.
