Several cadets from Judo Villefranche participated in the Occitanie championship, the competition of which took place in Mèze.
They fought to qualify for the French 1st division championship.
Despite the lack of a podium, everyone had victories and defeats.
Milan Thomas finished in 7th place,
Giani Allard, Jules Alibert and Jérémie Berton were unclassified.
Léa Nogaret champion of Occitanie
The same weekend, still in Mèze, two other licensees from the Villefranche club were entered in the Occitanie senior team championship. Geoffrey Berton, still a junior, shot with the Castres club and Léa Nogaret with that of Balma. Léa had a great competition and with her team won the regional title, thus qualifying for the French 1st division championship. A dream come true.
