BVB, rumor: Dissatisfied Jamie Bynoe-Gittens with thoughts of changing

Jadon Sancho’s return has been met with mixed feelings by many. But one person is hardly having any fun: Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The 19-year-old, who was in the starting line-up in five of the last six games when Sancho arrived, lost the starting place to his compatriot.

Although Bynoe-Gittens fought his way back into the first eleven on the 20th and 21st matchdays, he was only brought off the bench in the last five games or, as against Werder Bremen, was not used at all. Bynoe-Gittens also did not play in the Champions League duels against PSV Eindhoven – he still started against AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain on group match days five and six.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the youngster is unhappy with his playing time since the winter and is apparently thinking about a possible move in the summer. A loan could also be an option.

Arsenal FC is mentioned as interested. But BVB has the rudder firmly in hand: Bynoe-Gittens only extended it long-term until 2028 in November. In addition, the desire to leave should still be limited. But there isn’t much time left for missions on the remaining eight match days.

Bynoe-Gittens, however, celebrated a debut on an international trip: he scored his first goal for England’s U21s in the 7-0 win against Luxembourg.
