Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to the textual live broadcast of the Superbike, 2024 Catalan GP, Bulega challenges Bautista.
Nicholas Open upriding his Ducati Aruba.it, won the sessions Superbike free practice on the Spanish circuit of Montmelò. The rookie of the Borgo Panigale team achieved the best overall time with 1’40″907 during the second free practice session (FP2).
Alvaro Bautista, current world champion, took second place with a time of 1’41″154, followed by Toprak Razgatlioglu on BMW with 1’41″199, time achieved in the first testing session (FP1). Michael van der Mark on BMW Motorrad placed fourth, ahead of the official Yamahas of Jonathan Rea, six-time world champion, and Italian Andrea Locatelli.
Andrea is in seventh position Iannone of Team GoEleven, preceding Danilo Petrucci of the Barni Spark Racing Team and Sam Lowes of the Elf Marc Vds Racing Team, driving a Panigale V4R. Remy Gardner closes the top ten with his Yamaha R1.
