Brühl (mm). The castle town has a new West German individual champion: Emilia Imbriani (center) from BTV won gold in the judo class up to 36 kilos at the West German Championships in Nievenheim. The young Brühler prevailed confidently and brought the title to Brühl in her first year and as the youngest participant in the U15! Mathea Ling (left) only lost to the eventual winner in the semi-finals of the up to 48kg class, but won the small final in the following fight and thus took bronze. Maximilian Lorbach competed the day before at the German Individual Championships for Men U18 up to 50kg in Leipzig. Unfortunately he had to admit defeat against the eventual fifth-place finisher and the bronze medalist, but he still showed two good fights.
