Brazilian Dani Alves paid bail to get out of prison

Sentenced for rape in February to four and a half years in prison, the Brazilian paid his bail of one million euros.

Brazilian footballer Dani Alves, sentenced to four and a half years in prison for rape in February, has paid his bail of one million euros and will be able to leave prison, the Barcelona court announced late Monday morning.

“We inform you that the deposit of the bail of Daniel Alves has been recorded in the accounts of the 21st section of the Court of Barcelona”indicated in a press release this court, which had accepted last Wednesday the release of the player upon payment of this deposit, as well as the withdrawal of his passports and a ban on leaving Spain.
