REGIO – Brasschaat, Brecht, Essen, Kalmthout, Kapellen, Schoten, Stabroek and Wuustwezel will also join forces in 2024 to organize Sporteldagen, sports days for people over 50.
From April to November, people over 50 can participate in various Sports Days, a badminton tournament and a petanque tournament.
vzw Sport Plus Brasschaat organizes its Sports Day on Thursday, May 2 in the Sportoase sports hall. There are again a lot of sports on the list of options: aqua gym, zumba, drums alive, yoga, cycling, netball, petanque, curve bowls, curling, badminton, body gym or a dip in the Sportoase swimming pool.
In the afternoon, a walking tour in the park or further exercise in the sports hall is on the agenda. Afterwards you can have a nice chat while enjoying an afternoon snack with coffee or tea.
You must register before April 15 at the sports department. You pay 10 euros for half a day, 15 euros for a whole day. The price includes activities, sports insurance, lunch and coffee and snacks.
