Bourg-en-Bresse and Paris Basket respectively won in Roanne (111-87) and against Nancy (113-71), and are back at Asvel.

Bourg-en-Bresse and Paris Basketball took advantage of their late match on Wednesday to come back to the level of Asvel, runner-up to Monaco in the championship, by winning largely respectively in Roanne (111-87) and against Nancy (113 -71).

The three teams have 18 victories for seven defeats with nine days remaining in the regular season, during which a tough battle awaits to avoid fourth place, synonymous with a probable reunion with Monaco in the semi-finals, and to secure second, which provides home field advantage at the same stage.

Bourg-en-Bresse struggled slightly more to overcome the Chorale at home, which is playing to maintain itself: led at half-time (56-52) by the teammates of Sekou Doumbouya, once again very strong (26 pts including 19 in the first period), the “Game” then found its cruising speed.

Particularly at long distance (16/30 including 4/6 for Axel Julien, author of 14 pts, and 3/4 for Jeremy Morgan, 13 pts) and in the paint (33 rebounds to 22), where Bodian Massa reigned supreme (14 pts and 9 rebounds).

The Parisians, revengeful after their defeat in the first leg, only took a quarter to settle (23-17) before rolling out, also on fire behind the arc (22/37).

Particularly Nadir Hifi, author of a stratospheric performance (35 pts at 7/10 at long distance) and close to his career points record (39 with Le Portel against… Paris).
