Sources consulted by this newspaper affirm that the commitment of John Textor, owner of the Eagle Football group (Lyon, Crystal Palace and Botafogo), involves signing a European coach for the ‘Fogão’ project. “In a conversation with Setién’s representative, Textor received the information that the coach is considering taking over at Botafogo,” say sources from the operation and then add, “because it is a club with the conditions to be a protagonist in the Brasileirão and in the Copa Libertadores”.
