Boston Celtics Dominate Phoenix Suns: A Look at the Game and the Future

A few days ago the match between the Phoenix Suns and of Boston Celticsa match that saw Coach Mazzulla’s team win with a score of 112-127.

It was a very balanced match in the first half, but in the third quarter it was completely dominated by the team Jayson Tatum e Jaylen Brown, who not only won it in defense, but brought it home through an unusual offensive phase. In fact, the Celtics ended the game with 3 players scoring over 24 points and 6 players with shooting percentages above 50%.

These statistics speak volumes about both Boston’s offensive phasewho this season are having the miglior Offensive rating of the league (121.9 points per game) and on Phoenix’s defensive phase, which has never been anything special this year (especially for a team that has more interest in outscoring its opponents rather than defending the result).

As close as the match may have been, in the end it was the more deserving team that earned the victory, and Coach Vogel knows this very well. After the match, the Suns coach took advantage of the moment to take stock of the situation:

We’re not at the same level as Boston, we’re not yet. We have to work on it. We will get to their same level

Frank Vogel

As Vogel says, Boston has set the standard this season; they are the team to beat. Consequently, being on their level is equivalent to being a real contender.
