Boris Becker often shares small insights into his private life on social media. Now he let his fans take part in a family reunion.
Boris Becker (56) has been a free man again for over a year now, after spending several months in a British prison in 2022 for insolvency offenses. The former tennis professional repeatedly shows how much he enjoys his newfound freedom in his new adopted home of Italy with snapshots online. Now he shared with his Instagram fans a meeting with two very special women in his life: his mother Elvira Becker (88) and his older sister Sabine Becker-Schorp.

On his account, Boris shared some rather rare family snapshots in which the trio posed together in a good mood. While the 56-year-old occasionally shows photos of visits to his mother, photos of the three Beckers together are a rarity. “The Becker founding members. We missed my father Karl-Heinz at this family reunion!” Boris comments on his pictures. His father Karl-Heinz Becker died in 1999 at the age of 63.

But Boris has another surprise in store for his followers. He not only posted current family pictures, but also surprised his fans with some throwback photos. Boris apparently snapped a page from the family album. There are two photos on it, one of Boris as a little boy accepting a trophy. The second picture, which also comes from Boris’ childhood, shows the entire Becker family – back then still with Karl-Heinz – eating. The direct comparison to the photos from today, in which Boris, Elvira and Sabine also enjoy a family meal.
In any case, Boris’ fans are thrilled with the souvenir photos. “You look so much like your father in the last photo!” wrote one user, for example. But Boris is also celebrated in the comments for the new recordings: “The fact that you value and respect your mother so much makes you a very lovable person in my opinion,” wrote one fan.
