In the month of Memory, Truth and Justice, Boca will restore cards to members detained-disappeared by the last dictatorship, delivering them to their families this Thursday, March 21 from 7 p.m. in the room next to the Filiberto room in La Bombonera.
The members honored are Daniel Lázaro Rus, who disappeared on July 15, 1977, and Benjamín Isaac Dricas, who disappeared on August 21, 1976.
The meeting will be attended by journalist Gustavo Veiga, author of the book “Sport, disappeared and dictatorship.”
Boca’s initiative adds to the one carried out in 2022, when seven cards were delivered to relatives of victims of the last dictatorship, in line with tributes made by River, Racing, Huracán, Ferro, Rosario Central and Deportivo Morón among several clubs.
