Bleues third row Romane Ménager affected in training

Little worry this Tuesday in Marcoussis. During the Bleues’ high-intensity training, third-row center Romane Ménager limped off the field, having been hit in the right ankle during an impact. The trainers strapped a large ice pack to his ankle which has been causing him some problems for several seasons.

Her sister Marine, three-quarterback and vice-captain of the France team, has for her part been completely exempt from contact training, having suffered thigh discomfort since the match against Ireland last weekend. She just warmed up with some rhythmic runs, with her teammates. During training, it was Émilie Boulard who occupied the left wing, leaving the full-back position to Morgane Bourgeois.

After the victory against Ireland (38-17), the France team travels to Edinburgh to challenge Scotland on Saturday (3:15 p.m.), on the occasion of the second day of the Six Nations Tournament. In the event of Romane Ménager’s withdrawal at number 8, the staff could opt for Émeline Gros or Teani Feleu in the center of the third line.
